Chicago Film Photographer
My approach is observant, intuitive, and rooted in feeling. I pay attention to the energy of the room, the people you love, and the small moments that make the day feel like yours.
I tend to connect most with people who value intention over immediacy. They make thoughtful choices, love their people hard, and leave a little room for the day to surprise them. They appreciate the slowness and tangibility of film, and the idea that not everything meaningful needs to be immediate. I love making photographs that feel good now, but mean even more ten, twenty, or fifty years from now.
Take me somewhere that means something to you. Your favorite restaurant, your grandma’s house, the dive bar you always end up at, your childhood home. I love when a wedding feels like stepping into someone’s actual life rather than a version of it made for the occasion. The photographs become timeless because they hold a world that existed exactly as it did then—and you had to live in it for it to mean what it means.
